U.S. Attacks Venezuela | FAA Closes Venezuelan Airspace to Commercial Flights

The United States carried out an airstrike on Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, in recent hours. Multiple explosions were heard across the city. Local sources reported smoke around military facilities, intense aerial activity, and power outages in some areas.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) banned U.S. commercial flights from operating in Venezuelan airspace due to ongoing military activity and increased safety risks. The decision took effect through a NOTAM that was issued.

While the Venezuelan government described the incidents as a U.S. military attack, the U.S. side has not officially confirmed any operation linked to the explosions.

In response to the developments, the Caracas administration declared a “state of external threat” and announced that defense plans had been activated. The decision is expected to continue restricting civil aviation operations in Venezuelan airspace.

🔴 Update | U.S. President Trump announced that the United States has successfully carried out a large-scale operation targeting Venezuela and its President, Nicolás Maduro, and that Maduro and his wife have been captured and taken out of the country.
